New in 2023, we were thrilled to unveil WAC’s newest home: a state-of-the-art, exclusive fastpitch softball facility right here in Waukee!
This impressive 9,000 square-foot space revolutionizes how we practice, train, play, and grow. With the largest indoor facility dedicated solely to fastpitch softball in Waukee, our members now have the luxury of reserving individual practice times and benefiting from enhanced practice areas far surpassing our previous setup.
Here’s what makes our Fieldhouse stand out:
- Spacious Design: 9,000 sq/ft of fully turfed area with a soaring 18-foot ceiling.
- Dedicated Pitching Space: 3 standalone pitching lanes for focused development.
- Premier Hitting Tunnels: 4 expansive tunnels (55′ long x 12′ wide x 18′ high) for comprehensive hitting practice.
- Versatile Fielding Area: A large fielding space perfect for full infield drills with bases.
- Comfort and Connectivity: A welcoming lobby with ample seating and free WiFi.
Located in the heart of Waukee at 1120 SE Westbrook Dr, across from Target and just a half-block east of Alice’s Road, our new facility is designed to foster greater community involvement and support our expanding teams for the 2024/2025 season.
